bernardaud limoges

Founded in Limoges France in 1863, Bernardaud produces fine hand-painted porcelain dinnerware.  This pattern, simply named BER6, is an elegant example of their exquisite craftsmanship. 14kt gold Greek Key around the edge is further enhanced with a delicate filligre pattern. 

These pieces are made at the end of the 19th century and are in near-perfect condition, showing just slight usage.

 

These pieces in these photos turned out much more beige-looking than they actually are - they are very white and beautiful (see the inset photo on slides 1 and 3).

Note about the pieces on slide 3 - these are not Limoges but rather pieces made by Royal Bayreuth in Germany and Cauldon in the UK during the same period as the Limoges, are fine complements to Limoges and round out the set.
